Job Title: Auto styling and Detailing Technician (Occupation Code 5231 Vehicle Technician, Mechanics and Electrician)
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Auto Styling and Detailing Technician to join our team, fully on-site, for 37.5 hours per week across 5 days. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in window tinting, car wrapping, car styling, auto-tuning, remapping, valeting, and detailing. Candidates must be at least 22 years old and possess strong technical and creative skills to meet our high production standards.
Job Description:
- Perform all tasks with the team related to window tinting, car wrapping, car styling, auto-tuning, remapping, valeting and detailing aimed at bringing unique and innovative production standards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in window tinting, car wrapping, car styling, auto-tuning, remapping, valeting and detailing to ensure the brand remains competitive in the market
- Collaborate with designers to translate automotive styling and design concepts into detailed product specifications and technical packs that meet industry standards.
- Manage the product development process for automotive projects and oversee the progression of styling projects from initial concept through to final implementation.
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to source high-quality materials and tools for window tinting, car wrapping, and styling modifications, negotiating costs effectively to stay within budget while maintaining high production standards.
- Conduct fittings and provide technical feedback to ensure that all modifications, such as garment wraps and tints, fit perfectly on vehicles and meet the brand’s aesthetic standards.
- Monitor and track development samples of materials and tools used in automotive styling to ensure they meet design intent and technical specifications.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and merchandising about any changes or updates in project requirements
- Assist in resolving technical issues that arise during the styling process and production process, such as material compatibility or application techniques. Develop solutions to maintain project integrity and timelines.
